Nourish is designed with a privacy-first approach. This page explains how your data is handled when you use the app.

Your data stays on your device

Craving history, food preferences, allergies, and cycle settings are stored locally on your device. Nourish does not require an account to be used.

What we collect

Craving check-in logs that you enter yourself
Food preferences and allergies you set in your Profile
Reminder (check-in notification) settings you choose

Menstrual cycle data is optional and only used to personalize insights within the app.

Third-party services we use

Nourish uses Firebase (by Google) for two technical purposes:

Firebase Analytics — collects aggregated, anonymous usage data (e.g. which screens are opened, which features are used) to help us understand general usage patterns. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Firebase Crashlytics — automatically sends technical reports when the app experiences an error or crash, so we can fix issues. These reports contain device technical information, not your craving notes or personal health data.

Firebase is managed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Craving logs, food preferences, allergies, and cycle data are not sent to Firebase or any server — they remain stored locally on your device.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not share your craving, cycle, or food preference data for advertising
We do not track your device location
We do not send the contents of your craving logs or personal health data to any server
